The Story Behind the Shoes: A Night with Aquazzura

Aquazzura, the show-stopping shoes seen on celebrities, royalty and the world's most stylish tastemakers, is a surprising newcomer to the shoe-scene. Edgardo Orsorio, founder and creative director, worked at some of fashion's most esteemed design houses and after designing in the industry for ten years decided to break out on his own. His aesthetic draws from the influences of his Colombian heritage and childhood split between London and Miami. Latin sex appeal and European style combine to make one gorgeous aesthetic. 

Founded in only 2011 by the insanely talented Edgardo Orsorio, the line has gained the attention of shoe enthusiasts around the world. Edgardo's shoes are sexy, stunning and comfortable all at the same time. Who even knew that was possible?!

I was lucky enough to be invited to the preview of his latest resort collection in New York City. Already an adoring patron of the Florence-based shoe atelier, I eagerly accepted. 

His resort collection is nothing short of spectacular. Press and celebrities alike came to support Edgardo and his newest collection, all leaving with similar sentiments - need those shoes!
